New Credenza Enhances the Main Hall

Just delivered today: a beautiful new custom credenza, hand-crafted by board member Carter Refo. This credenza, constructed to match the check-in station previously designed and made by Carter, will allow us to display literature and gift shop items. It fits conveniently beneath the staircase.

“When we realized what would be especially useful and look perfect in that space, I knew that Carter would be the perfect person to ask,” said Shawn Eyer, Executive Director of the Virginia Trust for Historic Preservation. “We’re so grateful to have this beautiful furniture as one of the many upgrades made during 2024—the House’s 50th anniversary year.”
