Stories from the Past (ages 3-6)
This program introduces historical and cultural concepts to young learners through stories, crafts, experiential play, and special tours of the museum designed to engage young audiences. Upcoming dates are listed on the museum’s calendar of events.
Grades K-12
The War at Home: The Civil War and its Aftermath (grades 4-6)
This program uses primary sources and inquiry-based activities to discuss the impact of the Civil War and Reconstruction on life in Virginia, through the lens of the Lee-Fendall House and its residents.

Homeschool Days
The museum regularly hosts homeschool days in the spring and fall. On these days, the museum offers special tours and themed learning activities for the whole family! Upcoming dates and themes are listed on the museum’s calendar of events.
Booking & Fees
Reservations are required for all school groups. Please submit the following form: Lee-Fendall Program Reservation Form. We ask that reservations be made at least two weeks prior to the requested tour date. A deposit is required for us to book your reservation. Full payment is required at least two weeks in advance of the program date. The rate is $4 per student; bus drivers, teachers, and one adult chaperone per 10 students are admitted free.
