Early American Sampler

 This counted cross-stitch sampler is a fun project reminiscent of needlework samplers from past centuries. It is an advanced beginner project that features the alphabet, numbers, heart motifs, and decorative boarders. Samplers served as a needlework sketchbook, where women would stitch letters, numbers, decorative patterns that could be replicated on future projects.
